open-source is a model normally associated with the software revolution and a pollination of generative collaboration - a decentralised model. taking a line of flight, we propose the radical framework of open-source; projected into embodied spaces.
from physicalised exhibitions, artist platforms to online networks; peer2peer sharing to archival practices, in this workshop series we will be using the pool of ‘open source’ to fertilise ideas around collaborative practice.
revolutions of creating, mutating, and twisting the source, for the customisation of resources for the benefit of the hive.
(synonym: origin, spring, fertilisation):
disembodied collaborative practise.
